New single: Rolling Stone (Live at Ornithology, NY)


My new single Rolling Stone is one of the first tunes I wrote after the release of my Album SANTA FE last year.

The song is a genuine continuation of the album and when you listen to it, you will directly feel the flow and the natural connection that takes you straight back to the vibes of Santa Fe. All this in a way that shapes my artistic identity.

The inspiration behind Rolling Stone is my amazing band featuring Daniele Germani on Sax, Gabriel Chakarji on Piano, and Juan Chiavasa on Drums.
I am thrilled to be part of this group and I was delighted to play the grooves, vamps and bass lines of the tune on the cello.

The song was written and recorded live in a very swift, yet inspiring way. The whole process took us one day. I finish writing the song in the morning. The band rehearsed it in the afternoon. At night, we played it for the first time, and recorded it live at Ornithology, my favorite Jazz Club in Brooklyn, NYC.
The song could not have come to light without the chemistry between the members of the quartet, the pure essence of the song and the vibe at the club that night.
The performance really felt like a flowing conversation and the song sounded fresh, light, natural and powerful at the same time.
I really feel that Rolling Stone is worth sharing.
And now is the time to release it.
